SUMMARY:AIA Central Idaho February Luncheon Presentation
DESCRIPTION:  \nAlexandra Monjar\, Senior Project Manager at Capital City Development Corporation (CCDC)\, will share how urban renewal has transformed downtown Boise. She will focus on the River Myrtle-Old Boise Urban Renewal District\, where strategic investments in infrastructure\, public spaces\, and partnerships have revitalized underused areas into vibrant destinations. From mobility improvements and new housing options to support for small businesses and cultural vitality\, this district exemplifies how thoughtful reinvestment strengthened both the economy and community life. Alexandra will highlight key projects that illustrate how CCDC’s work continues to drive Boise’s growth while preserving its unique character. \nThe meeting will begin at 12:00 PM with a half hour for networking. Announcements and presentations will begin at 12:30 pm.
